NS Bikes Synonym RC2 29" Grey is made for fast riding when you want XC efficiency without the nervous feel of an old-school race bike on technical descents. The carbon frame, 100 mm travel front and rear, and modern geometry give you a bike that climbs hard, accelerates quickly and stays calmer when the trail gets steep, rocky or covered in roots.

On climbs, the Synonym RC2 keeps a sharp, race-focused feel. The steep effective seat angle helps you stay strong over the cranks, while the remote suspension lockout lets you firm up the fork and shock before a sprint, a long climb or a fast gravel section. Open the suspension again and the bike tracks the ground better, helping you keep grip on rougher parts of the trail.

Downcountry with XC race DNA

The Synonym RC2 is not a twitchy, traditional XC full-suspension bike. It keeps the low weight and efficiency of a race machine, but adds more control when the trail points down.

The long reach and 67° head angle make the front end feel calmer at speed. At the same time, the efficient pedalling position helps you push hard on climbs and fast rolling sections. That is why the Synonym RC2 works well for marathon racing, fast XC loops and more technical trail riding.

These size ranges are a guide. The best choice also depends on your leg length, body proportions and preferred riding position. Choose a smaller size if you prefer a more compact, race-focused feel. Go larger if you want extra stability at speed.

Geometry that gives you more control

A 475 mm reach in size M and 500 mm in size L show how modern this bike feels on the trail. The longer front centre gives you more room on the bike and more confidence when speed picks up.

The 67° head angle helps on steeper and rougher descents, while the 77° effective seat angle keeps you in a strong pedalling position on climbs. The 438 mm chainstay gives a good balance between stability and quick acceleration out of corners.
