If you wear shoes between approximately EU 35 and 42 and want a skateboard for learning ollies, kickturns and your first technical tricks, the Tricks 7.87" gives you a compact and manageable setup.

The 7.87" width gives your feet enough room to feel stable without making the board feel unnecessarily wide. That helps when you are still learning how to place your feet, shift your weight and control the deck during take-off and landing.

Why choose a 7.87" deck?

The difference between a 7.75" and a 7.87" skateboard is small, at around 3 mm. Both sizes can work well if your shoe size falls within the recommended range.

The 7.87" deck gives you a little more surface under your feet while still keeping the board quick to move. If you wear around EU 42 but are shorter, this narrower and shorter setup may feel easier to control than an 8" board.

If you are taller and wear around EU 42, you may prefer a wider 8" deck for extra space and stability.

The 7-ply maple deck gives you a solid base

The deck is made from seven layers of hard maple. That gives you the stiffness needed to push into the board, load up for an ollie and feel a clear response under your feet.

The double-kick shape raises both the nose and tail, so you can use either end of the board when learning tricks. It also makes it easier to steer the deck with your feet and control the board during manuals, pivots and basic flip-trick practice.

Medium concave helps you find your foot position

The medium concave gives the deck a shaped surface instead of leaving it completely flat. You can feel the edges more easily under your shoes, which helps you position your feet before a trick.

That extra feedback can make the board feel more predictable when you are learning where to place your front foot for an ollie or how far to move your back foot towards the tail.

Lightweight low trucks make the board easier to move

The lightweight trucks help keep the complete board easier to lift during ollies and other tricks. If you have a lighter or average build, the lower weight can make the board feel less demanding when you start practising jumps and quick board movements.

The trucks use a low 5" profile. That keeps the deck closer to the ground, giving you a more stable platform and reducing the amount of movement needed to control the board.

This lower setup is especially useful if you want to focus on tricks rather than long-distance cruising.

The standard kingpin keeps the grind area clear

The trucks use a standard kingpin and standard hanger. The kingpin sits towards the centre of the board, helping keep it away from the edge of the truck during grinds.

This is a common setup on traditional skateboards and gives you a straightforward platform for learning basic grinds and skatepark tricks.

52 mm 99A wheels suit technical street and park riding

The 52 mm wheels keep the board low and quick to respond. Smaller wheels make it easier to control the board during technical tricks and help maintain a stable feel under your feet.

The 99A hardness gives you a firm wheel suited to smooth skatepark surfaces and street spots. You get a direct feel and less unwanted flex when you push into a trick or land back on the board.
