SuperSuede™ adds durability where your shoes take the most abuse

Grip tape quickly shows which parts of a skate shoe are built to last. On the DC Teknic, the areas that take the most contact with the board use SuperSuede™, a reinforced suede designed to handle repeated abrasion.

According to the manufacturer, SuperSuede™ is 50% more durable than standard suede while staying soft and flexible. That means you get extra resistance to wear without turning the shoe into something stiff and bulky.

Impact-G™ takes the edge off harder landings

The Impact-G™ polyurethane insole is designed to absorb impact when you land heavily. If you come down hard on your heel or do not land perfectly centred over the board, the extra cushioning helps reduce the hit under your foot.

You still keep a direct connection to the deck, so you can feel where the board is sitting underneath you instead of losing feedback through excessive padding.

The vulcanised sole gives you direct board feel

The Vulc construction is flexible and works naturally with your foot. That makes it easier to feel the nose, tail and edges of the deck when you are setting up for tricks.

For flips, manuals and more technical skating, that direct feel helps you place your feet more precisely and react faster as the board moves underneath you.

Dual Density Pill Pattern balances grip and durability

The outsole uses DC's distinctive Pill Pattern with different rubber densities across the sole.

This gives you dependable contact with the board while helping the outsole resist wear. You will notice the benefit when you are constantly adjusting your front foot before popping or spending long sessions pushing around the streets.

The slim profile keeps foot movement precise

The Teknic has a noticeably slimmer and more fitted shape than chunkier DC styles such as the Gaveler or Court Graffik.

The tongue and collar use more restrained padding, so there is less bulk around your ankle. If you prefer a skate shoe that feels closer to your foot and lets you move more naturally over the board, this shape makes a lot of sense.

Super Canvas and reinforced zones complete the upper

The upper combines SuperSuede™ with Super Canvas, while rubber reinforcement is added in key wear areas.
