SCS stands for Standard Compression System. It uses a strong four-bolt clamp and internal compression hardware to keep the bar and fork tightly connected for a solid, rattle-free ride.
SCS works with both standard (31.8 mm) and oversized (34.9 mm) scooter handlebars. Standard bars can be used as-is, while oversized bars need the included shim for a perfect fit.
No. SCS requires bars without a slit. If your bar already has a slit, simply use an SCS shim to cover it so the clamp can tighten correctly.
A typical kit includes the SCS clamp, compression bolt, top cap or washer, and a shim for standard bars. Always check the product description for the exact contents.
Inspect and tighten whenever you hear rattling or feel bar play. Active riders usually check their SCS every few sessions to keep the scooter dialed.
