Griptape is a rough, sandpaper-like surface that gives your shoes better traction. It keeps you stable during tricks and helps you stay in control while riding or landing jumps.
Most griptapes are sold in a universal size that covers standard decks. If your deck is wider or has a custom shape you may need to trim the sheet. Check the product description for exact measurements.
Peel the old sheet slowly starting from one edge. Use a hair dryer or heat gun on low to soften the glue if it sticks. Scrape off any leftover adhesive and clean the deck before applying the new tape.
Yes. Remove all dust and grease so the adhesive sticks firmly. Wipe the deck with isopropyl alcohol or another degreaser and let it dry completely.
