Grips also called scooter handles are what keep your hands connected to the bar. They slide onto the handlebar and are locked in place with bar ends to stop them from shifting.
Made from a soft, high-traction rubber blend, grips keep the scooter from slipping out of your hands during tricks. The grooves on the surface help channel away sweat for a secure hold.
The soft, grippy rubber not only adds safety but also protects your palms from blisters. No matter how comfortable your grips are, we recommend wearing scooter gloves for extra protection.
Check the condition of your grips regularly and replace them when they’re worn or torn. Fresh grips give you a firm hold and better feel of the scooter, which means more control for technical tricks.
Most grips have a universal inner diameter, so they fit any standard scooter handlebar. What varies is the length. Choose shorter grips if you have smaller hands or prefer a compact setup, or longer ones if you ride a wider bar or like extra room for your hands.

Replace grips when they feel smooth, start to tear or slip on the bar, usually every few months for active riders. Worn grips reduce control and comfort.
Most pro scooter grips have a universal inner diameter of about 22 mm and fit standard handlebars. Length varies by model, so choose a size that matches your bar width and hand size.
Soft TPR or rubber blends offer the best comfort and shock absorption. Harder compounds last longer but feel firmer. Pick based on how much cushioning you like and your riding style.
Remove bar ends, slide a thin tool under the old grips and spray soapy water or cleaner to loosen them. Clean the handlebar, then spray a little soapy water inside the new grips and twist them on. Re-fit the bar ends.
