Sk8Mafia is a skateboard brand that needs no introduction. An absolute icon in the skate world.

The Sk8Mafia was born and still operates in San Diego, California. Thanks to its ethos, Sk8Mafia Skateboarding has defined itself as a brand of friends who just like to skate the streets together.

The history of the Sk8Mafia brand is definitely unusual, because it was created as a research project by Dan Conelly during his stay at the Art Institute of California. The assignment was to develop the brand and assortment, brand image and logo, and it went so well that it was honored with the Best Portfolio Award. After that, the brand was able to take off directly. His colleagues Josh Priebe and Peter Smolik, who shared the Sk8Mafia with Dan and a few friends, also contributed greatly. According to his own statements, Peter Smolik is also significantly responsible for the current logo, which is modeled on his own hand sign.

Mafia doesn't always have to be negative! Sk8Mafia stands for positive things like consistency, friendship and a love of skateboarding. This California brand is all about one thing: "Have fun" - nothing more than that! To this end, Sk8Mafia is constantly releasing new decks, kits and T-shirts with bold graphics, the quality of which perfectly complements the style.
