Park and street scooters have wheels for riding on suitable ground. Trampoline models are built for a different activity and may have no wheels. Follow the specific model’s instructions; do not assume that equipment for a trampoline can be ridden at a skatepark. The height tables below concern wheeled park and street scooters. For trampoline use, follow both the scooter instructions and the trampoline operator’s rules.
Overall height is measured from the ground to the top of the handlebar. A replacement bar’s height is a different measurement, so do not compare the two directly. Use the manufacturer’s size advice for the complete scooter, then consider how it feels when you stand on the deck. Age alone will not tell you which size to buy.
Compare deck length, width and shape, bar height and complete weight against where you ride and the tricks you want to practise. There is overlap between park and street setups, so check the actual dimensions and intended use instead of relying on the category label.
Check the recommended rider size, overall height, deck length and width, complete weight and maximum rider weight. A complete scooter avoids choosing each component separately. Start with where you will ride most and the tricks you want to practise. Compare each model’s deck dimensions, shape, bar height and weight. Street setups often favour space for grinds; park setups may prioritise easy handling for aerial tricks. There is overlap, so check the actual specification rather than the label alone.
