The axle is the steel rod that runs through the wheel and bearings, the spacer sits between the bearings to keep the correct distance and stops the bearings from being crushed when you tighten the bolt, both parts are needed for smooth and safe wheel rotation.
Most stunt scooters use M8 axles with an 8 mm shaft diameter, front axles are usually 28 mm or 38 mm long, rear axles range from about 50 mm to 100 mm, we also stock Dial 911 axles in lengths up to 130 mm, length is measured without the bolt head.
It depends on the brand, Blunt often includes the nut, Dial 911 sells the axle on its own so you need to buy the nut separately, always check the product description to be sure.
First check the shaft diameter, almost all stunt scooters use M8 which means an 8 mm thick rod, this 8 mm refers only to the shaft and thread, not the size of the bolt head, next measure the total axle length you need, for example 28 mm for many fronts or 50–100 mm for rears, finally confirm the spacer and bearing type, for the best fit we recommend using axles from the same brand as your scooter or wheels to avoid compatibility issues.
Inspect them regularly, especially after heavy park or street sessions, replace the axle if you notice looseness, stripped threads, rust or unusual noise, regular checks keep your setup safe and dialed.
