Hobie started playing with kendama a few years ago. Watching tapes of teaching kendama games to others around the world made him the obvious choice for the band. We knew he had to become an official member of the Sweets family.

A native of southern Oregon, USA, Hobie has spent his life riding BMXs and trying to level up in any way possible. His daily grind is more than admirable and constantly motivates us to do as much as possible.

Sweets Lab's new Cushion Clear Dama coating will surprise you right out of the box. Amazing good and sticky grip. A matte finish softens strokes and increases control over balance tricks. Best of all - Cushion Clear maintains excellent playability throughout its lifetime.
